My Journey

My healing journey began at five years old when I was introduced to yoga. Even as a child, I felt a deep connection to the practice and its ability to bring a sense of calm and grounding. While my family has roots in healing traditions, my path has been uniquely my own, shaped by life’s challenges and a childhood that was far from easy. There were years that, in retrospect, I can only describe as incomprehensibly dark—years that tested my strength and understanding of myself in ways I could never have anticipated.

Through these challenges, my focus became healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to learn from incredible teachers and traditions. It was through Akhanda Yoga, created by the inspiring Yogrishi Vishvketu, that I found a deeper understanding of oneness—not just as a concept, but as a lived experience of interconnectedness with myself and the world around me. Akhanda Yoga helped me heal not only my body but also my spirit and mind, bringing a deeper sense of balance and connection into my life. Though there are times when this balance may waver, it has undeniably elevated my overall sense of well-being.

After spending time in India, I was blessed with the opportunity to go to The Temple of the Way of Light, located in the Amazon Jungle of Peru, where I received an introduction to ayahuasca and began my relationship with this incredible healing plant. There, I had the privilege of working with the Shipibo Maestras and Maestros, who helped guide me through powerful, transformative experiences. Ayahuasca has been instrumental in clearing out a lot of the density I was carrying, including a massive load of grief that had been buried deep within me, as well as helping me overcome addiction. It has shown me things that my human brain couldn’t perceive and offered me a different understanding of oneness—one that transcended what I had experienced in India. These experiences have profoundly shaped my path.

Since teaching my first public yoga class at Burning Man, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life—students, teachers, celebrities, professional athletes, and those in recovery. I’ve co-facilitated teacher trainings, led workshops, and owned a yoga studio in Los Angeles. However, what matters most to me is meeting people where they are and creating a space where they feel supported in their growth. My approach as a trauma-informed E-RYT500 is rooted in compassion and informed by a deep understanding of the nervous system and anatomy. As I continue to learn from my students and clients, my work evolves to better serve their individual needs.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, my approach is simple: listen deeply, meet each person where they are, and offer intuitive, skillful care. I use a blend of modalities, including deep tissue, myofascial release, Swedish, shiatsu, craniosacral therapy, and Reiki. I am continuously learning and expanding my toolkit to better support my clients, ensuring I can offer the most effective care for their needs. Whether through bodywork, yoga, or compassionate guidance, my goal is to create a space where others feel seen, supported, and empowered to take their next step—whatever that may be. I’ve learned that healing is deeply personal, and I feel honored to walk alongside those who entrust me with their journey.

I feel lucky to have had these opportunities, and I don’t take them for granted. Healing is a dynamic and sacred process, and I don’t claim to have all the answers. But I do believe in the power of connection, curiosity, and the innate ability we all have to heal and grow. Everything I offer—whether it’s a yoga class, a massage session, or simply holding space—comes from a place of deep gratitude for the lessons and experiences that have shaped me. It’s a privilege to share what I’ve learned and to witness others discovering their own unique paths to balance, well-being, and transformation.
